Service
Web Advisory
A web-based form of involvement — no on-site work or task execution — focused entirely on organizing the premises for decisions and the key issues to address.
Web Advisory is not a service aimed at telling you what to do or presenting conclusions.
We organize your current situation and underlying premises, and put the key issues and decision criteria into words — so you can explain why you arrived at a given decision.
What Web Advisory is
In this service, we do not take on the decision itself. We engage with the process of organizing the premises and separating out the issues that lead to a decision.
- Organizing the premise conditions from a technical perspective
- Identifying the factors that influence a decision
- Putting things into words so discussions do not become too intuitive or person-dependent
All communication is handled online, and we work through documents and records.
Scope of involvement and how decisions are handled
In Web Advisory, the final decision always rests with the client.
At the same time, we engage with organizing the premises for decisions and making the issues visible. This creates a state where, after the fact, you can verify what information your decision was based on.
Situations where this form of involvement works well
- Direction and approach are broadly established
- You want a third-party perspective to verify the validity of a decision
- Immediate on-site response is not required
- It is possible to organize issues based on documents and records
Under these conditions, issue organization can progress even without on-site involvement.
Constraints from being web-based
In situations where the progress of work or changes in the field significantly affect decisions, there may be aspects that cannot be fully grasped through online information alone.
- Cases where real-time on-site judgment determines outcomes
- Situations where work and decisions are evolving simultaneously
- Cases where observation itself is the key input for decisions
In such cases, a broader form of involvement may make it easier to organize the information.
Relationship to other services
Web Advisory may stand alone as a complete service, or may be reorganized into another form of involvement depending on the situation.
Rather than proceeding based on a preset service, we assess the current situation and determine what form of involvement makes sense.
Next steps
Whether Web Advisory is the right fit cannot be fully determined from information alone.
During the consultation, we share your situation and work out what form of involvement is appropriate.
